Advances in MR imaging techniques have enabled non-invasive interrogation of brain microstructure. Fang Yu, M.D., and his team are applying quantitative susceptibility mapping, multi-shell diffusion imaging, and chemical exchange saturation transfer to characterize changes in neurologic diseases, including multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease.
